My jaws don’t hurt…I have been blowing balloons by mouth since 1992…I’m pretty fast. .. I recently had a problem following a 3 hour balloon line job. The left side of my face swelled up and hurt for 3 days. Perhaps it is just old age, but I ordered this pump on a whim for my next fall festival. It’s not as fast as me, but it has held up to several fall festivals this season, and my jaws don’t hurt. In usual fashion, I have gone a little over time for some of these events, and I have yet to run the battery down. It recharges pretty quickly, so turnaround time between events is minimal. As long as you have a power inverter, you can charge on the way to the next event.
